I know it tells a lot about me, but I really do like reading
plays. The strange thing is that you almost never see me in the
theatre. I've read all too few, but every now and then, a new one is
finished. Particularly I like William
Shakespeare (no surprise there) and Amalie Skram.
When I read a play, I have the benefit of imagining my own
scenes, not influenced by others pictures from movies etc. Many plays
are referred to in other writing and in movies and sort of known to me.
It's always entertaining to read something that gives me a few
revelations.
Earlier I borrowed plays at the local library and I've also
got
some at home. Once in a while I visit second hand stores and jumble
markets to gather more plays.
